Abstract

The article considers the problems of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Crimea and substantiates the need for its reform. The author analyzes the structure of the grain-product subcomplex of the agro-industrial complex of the region, identifies the factors constraining its development. The resource potential of the republic is characterized. The problems of agricultural producers and possible solutions have been identified. Priority directions for the development of the flour and cereal industry are highlighted. The state of the Crimean market of cereal products is presented. The reasons for the uncompetitiveness of the products of local manufacturers have been established. The prerequisites and directions of reforming the grain production subcomplex of the Republic of Crimea are determined.
