The issues of strengthening the sustainability of production by agricultural enterprises, the food industry of food products are summarized. A logical dependence of the state of health on the aggregate profit margin of the agro-industrial complex, the food industry and food retail is proposed. The problem of substantiating the goal-setting processes of sustainable development of food enterprises is clarified. The issues of ensuring the necessary assortment, quality and safety of food products are considered. The ways of increasing the economic availability of high-quality food products to ensure the diet of necessary food products for all categories of citizens are updated. The main directions and main ways of implementing measures of physical accessibility of food products are being deepened. The necessity and features of the introduction of artificial intelligence in the field of food trade are emphasized.
