Abstract

This article is written on the basis of the assessment-research of social programs of selected 7 municipalities in 2021-2022. The purpose of conducting research was to extent self-governmental social programs, responded to the needs of children and families with children in the second-third year after the adoption of the "Child's Rights Code". As a result of the research, it was revealed that the analysis of social security programs shows that the emphasis in the social security programs of the population, including families with children, is on one-time financial assistance, or on covering the costs of medical and social services. At the municipal level, at this stage of the development of children and family services, it is important to pay more attention to such an important direction as non-monetary support for families and, in particular, support for positive parenting.
