Abstract
The purpose of this study is to present the solution and possibility for the commercialization of logistics delivery utilizing drone in Korea through consideration of the theoretical background of the drones, analysis of domestic and foreign cases of logistics delivery utilizing the drone and problems with logistics delivery. The problem of logistics delivery utilizing drone can be divided into technical problems and legal and institutional problems. Technical problems include flight time, unexpected situations, and receipt of goods. Legal and institutional issues include regulation of aviation safety law, acquisition of dedicated airspace for logistics delivery of drone, and infringement of personal privacy caused by flight of drone. The solution requires development of battery technology that can increase the time and speed, and collision detection and avoidance related to unexpected situations can be adjusted through the drone traffic management technology of the operation control system. In order to collect the goods from the apartment house veranda, It is necessary to develop a technology for attaching and detaching the object autonomically. It is necessary to provide the aviation safety law to be suitable for securing technical level, utilization and safety. The problem of securing exclusive airspace for logistics delivery of drone needs to be referenced to the altitude of the four airspace proposed by Amazon and the invasion of privacy of individuals is expected to be resolved through legislation. Once these problems have been resolved, it is likely that it will be possible to provide logistics delivery by means of drone.
