Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between personality, perfectionism and aggression of college athletes. Participants of this study were 238 athletes attending K university in 2015. The survey tool was personality, perfectionism, aggression questionnaire. The data was analyzed frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0.BR The results of this study are as follows.BR First, personality of college athletes has a negative influence on perfectionism in many areas.BR Second, personality of the college athlete influenced negatively on aggression.BR Third, perfectionism of college athletes had a positive effect on aggression.BR Fourth, perfectionism was a mediating variable in the relationship between personality and aggression of college athletes.
