Abstract
The article summarizes the main approaches to the study of intersectoral interactions in the agro-industrial complex: through the tax burden of subjects, as business processes of related organizations serving material flows, as achieving a balance of interests in the process of commodity movement. Author's approach - taking into account the production and economic component of the processing of agricultural products through specific indicators per unit of production. Improving the interaction of subjects in product chains should be aimed at ensuring quality in the system as a whole at all levels, increasing the efficiency of interaction between participants in the technological chain, which is possible on the basis of modeling and process optimization.
