Abstract

The scientific article analyzes the system of financing and organization of healthcare in the Republic of Guinea. The schemes of distribution of general expenses and public financing of health care are presented. A comparative analysis of the main strategic directions of health financing according to the National Health Development Plan for the period from 2015 to 2024 and private household spending on health care among African countries with a similar level of development was also carried out. The features, advantages and disadvantages of the healthcare system of the Republic of Guinea are shown, as well as distinctive features of the interaction of all participants in the healthcare system: the state, foundations, associations of doctors, state and commercial medical organizations (polyclinics and hospitals) in the field of improving the efficiency of providing medical care to the population.
