Abstract

Digitalization products and services have already firmly entered both the everyday life of ordinary people and almost all areas of the economy, including the agricultural sector. The departmental project «Digital Agri-culture» and the Program «Digital Economy of the Russian Federation,» approved by order of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 28, 2017 No. 1632-r, are aimed at solving the problem of digital transformation of domestic agriculture, plans and stages of its implementa-tion are planned until 2024. All these changes are caused by the noticeable conservativeness of the industry and its lag in the implementation of innovations, unlike other sectors of the Rus-sian economy. This interest is also reinforced by the fact that agriculture has the main objective of ensuring the country’s food security. Having analyzed favorable and negative factors for the digital transformation of the industry, the authors set a goal on the basis of which a strategic plan for the digital transformation of the business of ag-ricultural enterprises was generated. It includes several stages that are aimed at determining the digital maturity of the studied enterprise, accord-ing to the SWOT analysis method, it is recom-mended to identify the range of digital capabilities and digital threats, form a digital transformation team and a digital culture within the organiza-tion, the outcome of actions should be summa-rized by an operational plan for the introduction of digital technologies, with a detailed description of measures, deadlines and responsible persons. The presented aspects will allow you to correctly, with the least costs and as soon as possible set up the processes of transforming the digital culture within the organization and strengthen its status in a competitive market in the context of global digital transformation.
