Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Kinematics Analysis of Starting Block Type Crouching Start in Race. In details, we experimented with 8 male short-distance runners under the three conditions such as BS(45-25 cm), ES(55-35 cm), and MS(30-40 cm) From the summary of the results, the most favorable start in 100m race was to get the strongest propelling power at the start line. The most important technical point is to respond to the signal as quickly as possible and to reach the maximum speed in the shortest time using front body angle and gravity with the high propelling power from the strong kick. In this study, type ES strating method was proven to be the most effective to improve the record.
