Abstract

Today, the number of consumers who are not satisfied with the monotony of standard hotels is constantly increasing, and while planning a holiday they pay special attention to the environmental aspects of travel and accommodation, location of the institution and the state of the territory, the type and peculiarity of the building, the comfort and design of the rooms. One of the most promising development directions in the hotel business is glamping-style hotels. The article analyzes the foreign experience in the development of glamping services. The preferences of potential clients of glamping were determined on the basis of the conducted survey. The analysis of the survey results showes that the majority of the respondents are ready to be consumers of such services, but actually they are not able to accept the lack of benefits of the civilization that surround them daily. This provides perspectives of glamping development. After all, glamping combines two attributes that determine its effectiveness: functional, which is determined by the quality of the services provided, has a functional character and is completely depended on the provider’s services, and emotional, which is formed by the consumer’s perception of the rest quality.
