Abstract
For Russia, whose goal is to ensure the protection of national economic interests and the formation of new international relations in the face of sanctions pressure, the issue of institutionally formed, both external and internal aspects of national security is the most important for ensuring national sovereignty. The article states that over the past thirty years, Russia has lost part of its sovereignty in the economic sphere, which negatively affected the state of its economic security. The situation in the sphere of economic security has aggravated under the conditions of sanctions, in connection with which today the country faces the task of institutional support for economic reforms. The author presents the main directions of reforming the Russian economy, which should create conditions for its further development, to ensure a sufficient level of economic security and to protect national sovereignty.
