Abstract
The article presents the results of an experiment on the use of protein from the larvae of black soldier flies (Hermetia illucens), (protein-lipid concentrate, BLK), which prove its positive effect on the egg production of laying hens of the “Haysex Brown” cross. A significant increase in the digestibility of feed nutrients by the body of bird has been proved under the influence of experimental feed protein from fly larvae, in the amount of 7.5 and 10.0% in the diet structure.
