Abstract
The article is devoted to the growth of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the friendly People's Republic of China and, in particular, the issue of mutual trade turnover increase during the period of sanctions in 2022 has been considered. The paper presents data that the increase in trade turnover between the two countries was significantly larger than the average for Chinese foreign trade. The analysis of the composition of Russia’s exports to China has shown that the increase in turnover was mainly due to the growth in supply of basic energy carriers: oil, gas, and coal.
