Abstract
The article deals with the problem of the development of the personality of a younger schoolchild as a member of Russian society, a citizen of the Russian Federation, as well as a subject of a new for him, socially important educational and cognitive activity. The content of the process of education in elementary school, its methods, techniques and forms of organization are characterized. Examples of the integration of educational and upbringing tasks in the classroom and in extracurricular activities of schoolchildren are given.
