Abstract

The autonomous learning cycle model includes three interrelated and continuous cycles of foresight, action and self-reflection, which provide a theoretical basis for the development of students’ ability to learn independently. In the foresight stage, we must conduct introspection and self-motivation to lay the foundation for self-learning; in the action stage, we must use self-control and self-observation to prevent the emergence of negative behaviors and thoughts. Analyze and observe your own learning behavior and make timely adjustments to ensure the smooth development of self-study; the self-study stage lays the foundation for the next self-study. Teachers should be focused on developing students’ ability to learn independently in stages and systematically.
