Abstract

The article examines the cooperation of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the cultural, humanitarian and educational spheres. The article also notes that since the establishment of the organization, one of the main areas of cooperation was declared humanitarian, and programs of cultural events were adopted at meetings at the level of heads of member states and ministers of culture of the participating countries. It is reported that the Regulation on the Arts Festival of the SCO member states was adopted and an expert group was created to develop strategies and directions for cultural cooperation. The main goal in the field of education is considered to be the training of specialists who meet all modern requirements and needs of the SCO member states.
