Abstract
On the basis of the original source - photo albums of one taiga Old Believer-chapel, both techniques of external and internal criticism of such data are characterized, and the method of fxing such a type of historical and ethnographic evidence is being worked out. Heuristic value provides as rare for the 1970-1990sthe “hobby” of the owner is the occupation of amator photography (we state that until the time of our research in the ethno-confessional group there was a ban on such practice).
