Currently, the Russian economy is charac-terized, on the one hand, by a shortage of personnel, on the other hand, by the need for structural adjustment, technological de-velopment and increased labor productivity. In these conditions, the burden on the for-mation and development of human capital largely falls on the business sector. The article presents an analysis of the factors and trends of the transformation of the Russian economy and the impact of the latter on the practice of corporate human capital management.
