Abstract

This study aimed to explore the effect of faculty and staff’ organizational positivity perception of university organizations on organizational innovation. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, data collected through the 2022 University Innovation Capacity Assessment (UICA) were used. Samples include 7,902 faculty and staff members from 61 universities. A HLM method was conducted to the analysis. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that organizational positivity perceived by faculty and staff had a positive effect on organizational innovation. The results of this study contribute to the development of university organizational culture theory and suggest practical implications for establishing human resource development strategies for faculty and staff members at the university organizational level.
