Abstract

This study investigated the application of heat pipe to improve the energy efficiency of the cooling dehumidifier. Dehumidification amount, power consumption, air temperature and dew point temperature were analyzed according to heat pipe application. In the case of using heat pipe, the decrease of the dew point temperature of the dehumidifier was increased by 0.2 ~ 1 ℃ and the dehumidification performance was improved by about 15.0 ~ 31.8% due to the cooling of the inlet air of the dehumidifier. Therefore, it is considered that applying the heat pipe to the cooling dehumidifier improves the performance.
