Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the results of the tasks of the Unified State Examination in Geography in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic in 2023, conducted in order to identify the main problems and objectives. During the analysis typical errors and its causes were identified, specific methodological recommendations were given to Geography teachers, heads of municipal and school methodological associations aimed at improving the quality of geography teaching in general education institutions. Recommendations were made taking into account the identified deficits among the Unified State Examination participants.
