Abstract

The negative consequences of the legal sphere mediatization are considered. Concrete examples demonstrate the mistakes that journalists make when covering the legal professionals’ activities, including forensic experts, in the mass media, as well as the bias of reviewers while estimating forensic linguistic expertise. As one of the possible ways to overcome these problems, it is proposed to pay attention to the interaction of professional lawyers with journalists, as well as to use PR technologies with the involvement of IT tools in the study of media materials.
