Abstract
지역사회에 거주하는 취약아동은 여러 가지 어려움을 겪는 경우가 많기 때문에, 취약아동은 일반아동에 비해 자아존중감이 상대적으로 더 낮을 가능성이 있다. 정신분석에 근거한 미술치료는 취약아동 집단의 자아존중감을 향상하기 위한 유용한 방법의 하나이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지역사회에서 대표적인 취약아동에 속하는 지역아동센터 이용아동들을 대상으로 정신분석에 근거한 집단미술치료 프로그램을 실시해서, 집단미술치료 프로그램이 취약아동의 자아존중감에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 본 연구에서는 정신분석에 근거한 집단미술치료 프로그램의 효과를 파악하기 위해, 프로그램 전후에 미술적 분석도구인 HTP검사와 비미술적 분석도구인 문장완성검사(SCT)를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 분석한 결과, 정신분석에 근거한 집단미술치료 프로그램은 지역아동센터 이용아동의 자아존중감을 증진하는 데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 무엇보다도, 집단미술치료 프로그램은 지역아동센터 이용아동의 총체적 자아존중감을 향상하는 데 기여한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과에 근거해, 본 연구에서는 취약아동의 자아존중감을 향상하기 위한 제언을 제시하였다.
