Abstract
Topical aspects of confessional and cultural interaction in the political space of Russia are considered. Special attention is paid to the characteristics of the main confessions in the political and legal space of Russia, the forms of their interaction with the state and among themselves are indicated. As a result of the analysis the conclusion about the need of further development and strengthening of cooperation between religious organizations in terms of counteracting the negative phenomena in society is made.
