Abstract

Reviews the current state of programmable and intelligent metasurfaces (MS) and their emerging applications in advanced integrated devices. For example, intelligent MS can adapt radio wave propagation channels and enhance their differences. The main strategies for designing intelligent MSs are considered. The necessity of combining such intelligent MSs with numerous methods of topological texture-fractal processing of signals and fields is revealed.
