Abstract
The article discusses the main methodological possibilities of the discipline "Ethics of state and municipal service" for implementing a number of competencies. The author comes to the conclusion that the effectiveness and quality of education in this discipline depends on the personal contribution of the teacher, his methodological and pedagogical experience, personal position and love for his profession.
