Abstract

He article discusses the process of socialization of students with disabilities and disabilities of the Salavat College of Education and Professional Technologies in the process of leisure activities. The article presents the results of a fundamental study that allows determining the conditions of socialization of students with disabilities through the organization of a multicultural and inclusive leisure environment. The study was conducted on the basis of the Resource Center for Socio-psychological and Pedagogical Support for the Disabled and Persons with Disabilities. In the conditions of the Resource Center, a rehabilitation environment is created that contributes to the formation of social, professional and personal competencies of students. It was attended by young people with a mild degree of mental retardation. The life and rehabilitation of children with disabilities often takes place in closed conditions, communication and interaction are limited, as a result, there is a violation of the process of socialization, children do not master social roles and are not realized in society. In the course of the study, it turned out that students with mental retardation have a low motivation for communicative activity, a limited circle of communication, a violation of the regulation of behavior, its stereotyping and rigidity, a tendency to create conflict situations. As part of the formative stage of the experiment, a cycle of social rehabilitation and cultural events aimed at increasing the social and creative activity of students with disabilities and disabilities was implemented. The practical significance of the study is to develop recommendations that teachers, speech therapists, psychologists can use in their professional activities
