Abstract
The purpose — to present a brief literature review and a clinical case of diagnosing a non-compact left ventricular myocardium in a patient. Material and methods. Literature sources and medical documentation of the patient with non-compact left ventricular myocardium (inpatient patient card) were studied. Results. A brief review of the medical literature on non-compact left ventricle myocardium is presented, the clinical characteristics of the disease in a patient is given, as well as the data of their laboratory and instrumental studies; differential diagnosis of this disease with acute coronary syndrome without ST-segment elevation is demonstrated. Conclusion. Despite the rare occurrence of non-compact left ventricular myocardium in the population, the timely diagnosis of its symptomatic type is possible due to a specific Doppler echocardiographic picture, which was presented in this clinical case.
