Abstract

Housing satisfaction with rural housing choices is due to the diversity of housing choices that favor quality of life along with economic growth. In this study, we conducted an empirical analysis to analyze the relationship affecting housing satisfaction through a survey of residents on the residential satisfaction and the continued direction of residence in rural housing that is emerging as a new housing option as society diversifies such as the pursuit of a leisurely life in old age and the increase in housing due to the coronavirus pandemic, and to give suggestions for the settlement of the housing type in the future. As a result of the analysis, the factors that affect the residential satisfaction and the continuous residence orientation in rural housing are shown to be physical characteristics, environmental characteristics, location characteristics, and economic characteristics, and the higher the housing satisfaction, the higher the direction of continuous residence.
