Abstract
Based on the analysis of the current practice of Russian companies, the main directions of improving the efficiency of repair production are highlighted. The available approaches to assessing the effectiveness of repair production are considered, and controversial issues are highlighted. A comparison of the proposed theoretical approaches to evaluation and directions for improving efficiency made it possible to conclude that the focus is on using internal growth reserves through the use of various forms of production organization, reducing costs for materials used, optimizing technological processes and reducing the complexity of operations that affect the cost of repairs.
