Abstract
The author focuses on the local studies as a mean of civil position education of younger schoolchild, as well as on criteria for the objective
 correlation with the achieved result. The article presents criterion-diagnostic tool that can be used to determine the effectiveness of civil position
 education of younger schoolchild by practicing teachers, trainers and students of pedagogical specialties of secondary and higher vocational
 education.
