Abstract
The article selects and analyzes scientific literary sources on the improvement of public spaces. The analysis of the world experience of landscaping and modern specifics of urban development of public spaces from the point of view of the relationship of green areas with urban development is carried out. The main planning problems of public spaces and the problems of their reconstruction are investigated. The best techniques and features of public space projects have been identified.
