Abstract

The article examines the current situation in the world economy in the conditions of the new global economy, when there were changes with negative dynamics. As a result of disruptions in global value chains due to external shocks (the COVID-19 pandemic, the transition to green energy, a special military operation in Ukraine, growing ideological differences between countries, the aggravation of relations between China and the United States, the imposition of sanctions by the Western alliance led by the United States against Russia and its retaliatory actions) there was a deep recession and stagnation of certain areas of production. First of all, this affects the economy of Russia and European countries. All this has led to a decline in economic indicators, an increase in unemployment, the loss of millions of residents, a decrease in income and impoverishment of the population. The solution of the above problems is necessary for the normal functioning of states and their economies. In continuation of this topic, it is necessary to consider possible ways to overcome the current crisis.
