Abstract

channel, which specializes in therapeutic arts content. The research interrogates the therapeutic effects derived from engagement with therapeutic art content in EMOR’s channel, employing Judith Herman's Trauma Recovery Stage Model(1997) as an analytical framework. Data collection involved analyzing comments on a video clip created in collaboration with the channel's creator, augmented by participant observations with ten-time field visits and interviews with thirteen research participants. Findings reveal that the therapeutic experiences facilitated through the consumption of therapeutic arts contents and interactive engagement within the channel lead to establishing safety, remembrance and mourning, and re-connection. These processes echo the healing trajectories observed in traditional offline therapeutic contexts. The study highlights the efficacy of digital media in facilitating therapeutic arts approaches, suggesting its potential to broaden the socio-cultural functions of art within a cultural-economic framework.
