Abstract
The article discusses approaches to standardizing the production planning process and the reasons for initiating this activity. An enlarged diagram of the production planning process is proposed. The main factors influencing the process and the reasons for its changes are identified. The advantages and disadvantages of the standardization process are considered. A methodology for regulating the process is proposed, taking into account the requirements of international standards and various stakeholders.
