Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze how proprioception training affects the balance ability of Taekwondo Poomsae players. The participants were 20 Taekwondo poomsae players. Athletes were randomly assigned to a Taekwondo Poomsae training group or a group that combined Taekwondo Poomsae training and proprioception training. For the study, it was checked the balance ability before the study and after 8 weeks. The data were analyzed using Two-way ANOVA, and the statistical significance level was set to α=.05. The study showed that there were significant difference in static balance, and the dynamic balance.BR Proprioception training had a positive impact on the players of Taekwondo Poomsae. Various sports programs should be continuously developed in consideration of the characteristics of Taekwondo Poomsae players.
