Abstract
To assess the country’s innovative potential and develop concepts for further economic development and develop a strategy for digitalization of the Russian economy, it is necessary to analyze the general structure of indicators of innovation activity, costs of innovation, the share of organizations carrying out technological innovations and sources of financing by type of economic activity, consider tools and main directions technological development.
