Abstract

The purpose of this article is to develop, as an addition to the existing classifications, ideas about risks in the migration sphere, taking into account the development of digitalization in the state management of migration processes. The research methodology is based on the author’s model of spatial interactions of subjects in the migration sphere to identify risks for public administration, as well as methods of expert assessments and drawing up heat maps of risks. The results are to identify and assess the risks generated by migration processes and the risks of public administration in the migration sphere, including the risks of using digital technologies in registration, control and regulation processes. Conclusions: Risks to public administration should be systematically assessed both from the perspective of possible damage and become a justification for the development of strategic solutions in the field of solving economic, social and demographic problems of the country’s development.
