Abstract

The prevalence of endometriosis is still high and amounts to 10% of women of reproductive age in the population; unfortunately, there is a continuing negative trend towards its increase. Early reproductive losses in endometriosis contribute to the risk of several subsequent obstetric and gynecological complications. The presence of post-traumatic syndrome and some other psycho-emotional disorders in the patients of this cohort demonstrates the need for a thorough and efficient rehabilitation. One of the most effective means of rehabilitation in the post-abortion period, in addition to psychological correction, are dienogestcontaining combined oral contraceptives, which provide a woman with reliable contraception, improve the recovery process before planning next pregnancy, and preserve a reproductive potential. Key words: endometriosis, reproductive loss, abortion, contraception
