Abstract

Against the backdrop of modern global economic and political changes, the article analyzes the strategy of customs regulation in the context of the import of industrial equipment, which was under the influence of sanctions from Western countries. The research material presented in the article is an attempt to clarify and detail the impact of external restrictions on industrial activity in the Russian Federation. Given the dynamism of the modern world economic order, the article provides an in-depth analysis of many aspects of customs regulation, which can dramatically affect the processes of importing equipment of various kinds. Particular attention is paid to the study of how sanctions can affect the existing business processes of organizations involved in the supply of equipment to the Russian Federation, and the article also reflects how companies can adapt and find alternative ways to supply the necessary equipment. Within the framework of the article, the author provides recommendations that will not contradict the customs legislation, and which cover a wide range of approaches to the supply of equipment: from finding new suppliers outside the sanctions zones to stimulating domestic production resources.
