Abstract

Purpose of the study is development of an approach to the analysis and assessment of the quality of life for the formation of an information base of standard guidelines. The article proposes to use a normative approach, which, on a single methodological basis, will allow the subjective and objective concept of "quality of life" to be presented in the form of numbers, with a link to the implementation of state programs. Scientific novelty lies in the development of an approach to create an information base of standard guidelines that can be used in standardizing the quality of life of the population in rural areas. As a result of the study, the most common methods for analyzing and assessing the quality of life of the population were identified. A comparative description of the methods is presented and a mechanism is proposed for reconciling the normative approach to develop criteria for assessing the quality of life in the context of various spheres of the population's life. It is concluded that it is expedient to use the normative approach in the development of normative indicators (originating standards) for analyzing and assessing the quality of life of the population with the linkage of disparate indicators of socio-economic development strategies at the federal and regional levels, indicators of priority national projects and state programs.
