Abstract

The aim of the study is to provide the reader with some material on sustainable economy transition models. Depending on the interaction of the four components of such a state of the national economy (the economy, society, nature and the state), three author’s models of a sustainable economy are proposed: stabilization (based on the role of the state coordinating the principles of the development of society, the economy and the environment); predictive (the state creates conditions conducive to the effective diffusion of the principles and tools of the functioning of the economic, social and environmental spheres) and balanced (the economy is subordinate to society, since it directly depends on human capital). It is emphasized that the state is a unique institution that has the ability to simultaneously administer, represent the interests of the general public, and determine strategic guidelines and priorities for the development of the socio-economic system, which is why its presence in the model of sustainable economy is obviously mandatory.
