Abstract

Ensuring sustainability is an important condition for the development of organizations due to the innovative nature of the changes taking place and the resulting uncertainty and risks. At the same time, uncertainty and the risks caused by it arise not only during the ongoing research and production of an innovative product, but also in the external environment, in particular, market risks. The research results conducted on this issue contain various approaches and methods for solving the issue of both assessing and ensuring the innovative development sustainability. At the same time, the high-tech enterprises development peculiarities require the development of not only methods and techniques for their use, but also the appropriate indicators system development that take into account the peculiarities of these enterprises functioning and development. The assessment methods of high-tech enterprises sustainable development mainly include vertical assessment, horizontal assessment and dynamic complex assessment. Vertical assessment is to compare the enterprises development vertical trends in different periods; horizontal assessment is to compare the comprehensive strength of different high-tech enterprises sustainable development; dynamic comprehensive assessment is to compare the overall several enterprises development level and trend in different periods . The indicators system for assessing the high-tech enterprises sustainable development includes six indicators main categories: human resources, innovation ability, market adaptability, economic strength, operation and management ability, and environmental protection ability.
