Abstract

The article discusses the formation of professional communication skills among dentists. Providing medical, especially dental, care is associated with a high level of emotional stress for patients. Fears and anxiety about medical interventions often hinder patients from seeking care, thereby reducing the overall dental health of the population. Psychological and emotional comfort during patient visits often plays a crucial role in choosing a healthcare provider and facility. Furthermore, strong communication skills significantly increase patient compliance and improve the quality of medical care provided. Based on literary data, the article examines the problematic aspects of communication between healthcare providers and patients and analyzes the structure of effective professional communication aimed at ensuring comfortable dental treatment.
