Abstract
This article is devoted to the consideration of decrees and decisions of central and regional authorities dedicated to organizing the introduction of new civil rituals in the Altai Territory in the mid-1960s. Based on their analysis, the author examines the ideological foundations and specifc ways of infuencing society, laid down by the state for the introduction of new rituals.
