The presented article, based on the provisions of axiology, considers the peculiarities of economic behavior of project stakeholders through the lens of their value orientations. The need to study the specificity of values in the structure of economic behavior of stakeholders depending on their status positions and role function in the project is updated. As a result of methodological analysis, a sociological interpretation of the axiological basis of economic behavior of stakeholders within the project is presented, which lie in the plane of direct determination of value orientations, value interest and expected benefit of groups of stakeholders of the project. The methodological analysis carried out on the content of the concepts of "stakeholders" as beneficiaries of the project made it possible to treat the related terms "interested party," interested persons, "involved party" as equivalent. The article provides an example of methods by which socio-economic and synergistic effect can be achieved in working with stakeholders, taking into account the balance of interests and values of project participants. The characteristics of value orientations given in the article mediate their general principles of separation in the structure of economic behavior of stakeholders, on the basis of which existing models of influence on key and secondary stakeholders of the project can be built and/or supplemented, taking into account the interests of its parties, as well as on the basis of differentiation of types, tasks and goals of projects having their own certain range of interested stakeholders. Analysis and synthesis of provisions of axiology, methodology of domestic researchers in the field of theory of interaction with stakeholders to determine positions and specifics of participation of stakeholders in project activities made it possible to conclude that feedback is necessary in the system of evaluation measures to study social and economic efficiency of organizational activities for project implementation.
