Abstract

The article notes the role of technical and technological modernization of agriculture in the development of rural areas, and evaluates the solution to this issue. Problems that impede the transition of the industry to an innovative path of development are formulated, and directions for solving them are proposed. It is concluded that in this matter the quality of the public administration system is of decisive importance, first of all, its focus on demonopolizing the economy and comprehensive support for agricultural producers, including innovation.
