Abstract

In the context of the reform processes in Ukraine, the task of preparing a person for life in qualitatively new social and economic conditions arises before education. For this, education and the education system should be oriented towards the student’s formation of an innovative type of thinking and action. There is a need to prepare a person for life in a globalized space, where there are significant dynamic changes and a significant impact on the person. In modern conditions, foreign communication has become an important component of the future professional activity of a specialist, which greatly increases the role of the discipline “Foreign Language” in non-English higher education institutions. The article substantiates the essence of the value approach to the formation of linguistic behavior of specialists in economic specialties in the process of studying foreign languages. The direction of modern economic education development is determined. The language activity consists of the application of a relatively large number (to several tens of thousands) of relatively small articulatory and sound acts fixed in it by the members of this ethnic community – words to refer to certain phenomena of objective reality (objects, processes, attributes) and their reflections in consciousness (understand, representations). The language of each ethnic community plays the role of its main distinguishing feature and means of preserving the spiritual identity. It should be noted that one of the main socio-cultural mechanisms interaction is language communication. Language, being a social phenomenon, is a reflection means of the surrounding world. Behavior is the process of living beings interaction with the environment. Thus, the obvious is the dependence of human behavior on the language and the usual forms of operation of it. Linguistic behavior is one of the key of socio-cultural mechanisms that provide (through the inclusion in the speech interaction of consciousness and intelligence, value-normative regulations, attitudes, intentions, will, emotions of subjects of communication) the very possibility of interaction between people. A. Valeeva’s theoretical studies confirm the conclusion that linguistic behavior is a real process of linguistic communication, which has a personality or group specificity, embodied in externally observable acts and actions of social subjects, associated with the functioning and development of the language used.
