Abstract
The results of a study of the composition of polystyrene concrete based on a study of its technical characteristics, are presented. The study was based on basic indicators, such as the water-binder ratio, the optimal ratio of the components of the composite binder, as well as the number of polystyrene foam granules in the composition of lightweight concrete. Using the scientific-experimental method, the ratio of its components was modeled. The study used standard materials for the production of lightweight concrete and polystyrene foam of various fractions. Based on the research carried out, the optimal ratio of components for the production of thermal insulating concrete was identified in accordance with regulatory documentation.
