Abstract

The article examines in detail the issues of diversification of export and import operations of the regions, as well as their adaptation to changing global markets. This article highlights the current aspects of foreign trade activities of Russian regions in the modern conditions of global transformations of the world economy. The main focus is on the dynamics of changes in export and import operations, as well as on strategies of foreign economic relations in the context of sanctions policy. The authors present an analytical review of the impact of global trends on the Russian economy, highlighting key points in the development of foreign trade flows in a regional context. The article is aimed at analyzing the features and optimization of trade and economic relations in Russia in modern development. The study identifies strategic aspects that contribute to adaptation to the new realities of the global economy. The main tasks include an overview of current trends in the global economy, studying the impact of sanctions on the foreign trade activities of Russian regions, identifying the characteristics of foreign trade flows, and proposing strategic directions for optimizing foreign trade interactions between regions. The study includes a review of the literature, paying attention to the works of such authors as R.I. Khasbulatov and O.Y. Trofimenko.
